The organic linen fabric, texture & mini-check print are super quality. The color is listed as "black" but actually the pattern is two-tone, black and medium gray gingham. It's a gorgeous garment & it arrived within a few days of purchase, very fast considering that it traveled coast to coast. I'd wanted this skirt ever since last August when I happened to see a guide at the Library of Congress wearing one.
