1. Arrived quickly, which was good.
2. Seller wrote “barely used” and “looked new” - in fact, the item has been activated in March 2021, according to Google support. That means used for two years!
3. Wi-Fi connectivity not working, so essentially unusable as a connected thermostat.
4. Battery worn out, external power needed to power the device.
Only thing seller offered to take that item back – even if the normal circumstances one can sue for misrepresentation

Facts-Installed by HVAC tech, used well < 1 yr only as dumb thermostat until I agreed brass mismatch 4 our decor so tech replaced. Had no knowledge of operating pbms if used as smart device, apologized, offered 4 times to fully refund if returned. Ignored my offers to resolve but requested compensation. Google offered him exchange w/ new unit valued @ $250 saving $82 by refusing to return my unit. Tried to satisfy yet despite efforts he gets new unit at 33% discount & still leaves negative f/b
