The exact part I was looking for, it is in like new condition, packing was superb, price acceptable. I had looked for days for this part and terisworld had it! It was a glass inner liner for an oven so I was concerned about it being broken in transit. Again, the care in packing the item was superb!!! Great seller to deal with.

Waring Pro FS150 Professional Electric Food Slicer
Dec 17, 2015
cheap slicer leaves a lot to be desired
The slicer actually slices very good considering that is a relatively low cost unit. So far I sliced up a large pork loin into 1/2 inch portions like pork chops. The slicer sliced easily on the forward stroke actually I was pretty impressed. When pulling the carriage back it would bind on the sliding pole. Plastic on metal not exactly ball bearing operation here. I was able to overcome this for the most part by lifting up slightly on the carriage on the back stroke. My biggest disappointment was in cleaning. I had get out my wrench to remove the thickness selector 2 bolts in order to be able to clean underneath it. Then I needed My Phillips screwdriver to remove the little food guide just in front of the blade. Even after doing this I still didn't feel like I was able to clean it properly. I was slicing raw pork and I just had the feeling that there was some nook or cranny where a bit of meat or blood was festering into botulism getting ready to pounce on my cheess next time I use the slicer. Also the carriage is the same or maybe worse the top of the carriage can be removed and easily washed but there is a large hollow area that is impossible to access. I ended up cleaning everywhere I could and then I hosed it down with hydrogen peroxide. I suppose that should suffice. I promise you I'm not a germ nut or anything like that I am a man and not real big on cleaning to begin with. But I do take food safety seriously as I do not enjoy projectile vomiting. I have had food poisoning before let's just say I learned my lesson. I don't know how much you would have to spend I order to get a unit that can be easily disassembled for cleaning but that is now going to be my top priority when I upgrade. In the end I never had a slicer before and I found it to be a useful tool I just wish the builders made it easier to clean
