Greetings. We're sorry to hear you have had this experience. We actually check the bows before shipping but would have been willing to replace the bow if there was an actual problem. Please make sure that the bow was not wound too tight. If you tighten the bow too much the bow hairs will start to break because they're not meant to be overly tightened. Thank you. Ro
