Hi, I'm sorry to read your comments, the advert did state the seals were not as good due to age. I have issued you a part refund on your item.

Sony Nex 3
This is a fantastic camera, ideal for easy use, and great for someone who wants a little more than a compact camera, but not the absolute complications of an SLR. The menus are intuitive, the tooltips very useful as you go through so it's easy to choose the type of photo you want to take. The quality of the screen is fantastic, very clear and easy to see in bright lights - the added advantage that it flips in both directions (up and down) so that you can easily see the screen when taking a shot with your hands held high (ie shots over people's heads) or if you have it on a tripod, you don't have to bend down to see the screen. The battery life is very reasonable given that it doesnt have a viewfinder, therefore you cannot turn off the screen. I did purchase a second battery as our first trip was to a F1 grand prix, and we were camping for 5 days so I had no access to electricity to charge up batteries, and this worked really well. On 2 batteries we took over 1000 photos and about 10 - 15 minutes of video (in 1 - 2 minute chunks). The photos are nice and clear when you download them to your computer, I am really pleased with the quality. The panorama shot is really fun and gives some lovely results, all you do is aim at your left start point, hold the button, move the camera to the right keeping the button pressed and with the release of the button your image is processed and stored as a single image right away. For fast speed photography I purchased a class 10 SDHC card, I didn't even know cards had speeds until I started looking at this camera!!! There is a measurable difference between how many images can be buffered on a class 2 and a class 10 card. The class 10 card allows for around 30 images to be taken continuously (with the button held down) before it struggles, whereas the class 2 card struggles after about 10 - 12. So, a better card is well worth the money if you're needing fast photography. The camera is a nice size to hold, very quick to 'boot up' when you switch it on (if you have the lens cover removed) and I love it. As I was not after video, then the Nex 3 was the better value over the Nex 5, with the 18 - 55mm lens. I have already recommended it to a friend, who has since bought it and her comments are the same. I do not have any bad points for it - however, if people are used to the full functionality and are very familiar using PASM modes on an SLR, I believe the menus can be a little frustrating for them.
