scant satiric value, somewhat redeemed by the illustrations
A handful of Twain's suggestions, none particularly remarkable for their humor, but at least neatly illustrated in a befittingly unconventional style.

Endearingly glib
The reviewer who gave this a love mark over an expletive must have overlooked the title... And how, in a nonfiction recounting of the writer's experience, quoting something said to her is very close to victim blaming. Fortunately Blair is no snowflake. This wryly observed and at times unflinching retrospective is well worth your time.
