20 minutes from bottomed out to bottoms up.
Item was a perfect replacement for the cylinder on my 20 year old desk chair. Just replace the cover with my own and tap into place. Put the assembled shaft in the base and sit. That's it!

Not subject to easy breakage.
It seems that, no matter how careful one is when handling HO scale freight cars, a stirrup will occasionally be broken off. These formed metal items are a perfect replacement for the plastic ones most cars come with. Drill two holes, insert stirrup, add a drop of solvent adhesive or ACC. That's it. Two minute repair that will never need repeating. All aboard!

Something all Americans should see.
5 of 5 found this helpful This is a historical documentary - not to be taken as entertainment or amusement. As such, it is very well done, of a comparable quality to anything currently available. As for the content, I, myself, have been trying to warn people about the pox of creeping socialism since the days of those misguided people that originally instituted the 'Great Society', meaning the 'welfare', or 'entitlement' state. I've also been warning people that 'political correctness' would be the end of America. Now, forty-some years later, many others are finally seeing what I did at the start. One of the prime virtues of knowing the history of the way things came to be the way that they are is to learn from mistakes that were made so we don't blithely repeat them. Deleting the parts that 'might offend someone' simply defeats the purpose, unless the purpose is to use it as a 'tool' to further political ends. We have recent administrations that seemed to be doing all they could to use our past sins to divide, rather than unite Americans. This DVD will be a rude awakening to some. For others, some things may finally begin to make sense. This is a well done, thoughtful documentary, based on the facts. As a student of history, myself, I might not agree with all of it. That is, after all, MY decision - MY choice, but I do highly recommend it.
