About us

I'm a collector of costume jewelry, art and historical memorabilia, toys and oddities, old magazines and books, vintage clothing, shoes and scarves. (I'm also a writer and editor in my spare time... when I'm not combing through my collections to decide what to sell, or visiting antique stores and flea markets in the pursuit of more treasures!)

I have lots of gift items on my site, and I'll be happy to send your purchase to the recipient directly, with a birthday greeting or whatever. Just email me when you order the item and we can discuss how much extra I would charge (depending on the size of the item, whether you want it in decorated in wrapping paper, etc.) I can also put in a gift tag with your personal message for free. I also have gift certificates for sale, if you want to let someone choose their own gift.

    I was happy to receive this, though I was concerned that the packaging wasn't as resilient as it might have. The box it was shipped in sustained some damage, and it was a little distressing to see that the rolled poster was fastened together with a rubber band. Thankfully , the poster itself wasn't damaged, but it might have been a near thing.

    I am sorry to hear about this and thank you for the feedback; I will take it to heart the next time I sell a poster! I thought a rubber band was a safe fastener, so I will do some research to see a better alternative, and maybe buy a box specifically made for posters, since you say this sustained damage. I did insurance it, so if it had been damaged I would have been able to make it right, but I will go to more effort next time based on your feedback, so thanks for letting me know!
