Great for cooking eggs!
2 of 2 found this helpful The gtx480 runs hot, gets loud, and eats enough power to run a normal PC. However, it produces some very nice graphics on games from 5+ years ago in high to ultra settings (Skyrim and Bioshock Infinity look great!) while still having enough power to run some modern titles in lower settings.
However, you can get a better and newer gpu for around the same price with much less power requirements.
Also, 1.5gb of vram is quickly becoming too little space for modern games.
Overall, it's not doing too bad for an 8 year old gpu, but better options are available at the same price point.
