    Gear is a bit more slender than what I thought, but it's quite rigid. It arrived undamaged in a padded envelope several days ahead of schedule. The finish is smooth, and the black carbon fiber weave will be attractive on my plane. I may have to put a wedge under it to mount it, as my old gear is slanted forward. I think this gear has a lot of bang for the buck.
