    The polarity on the connector from the battery to the watch was reversed, causing the battery to heat up when conencted to the watch. Luckily I disconnected it before it caused damage or exploded. I had to cut the connecting wires of the battery and did a cross over connection. Working fine now, but if I did not catch this in time, I could have lost the watch and cause a fire. Not impressed at all.
