About us

I've been collecting, restoring, and selling vintage bicycles and bicycle parts for over fifty years. I started working on bicycles when I was ten years old. Back then, those were new bikes. Since then, I worked into the 1970s and 1980s bikes. I have remained in that era ever since, although I have modernized the drive trains on some bikes. I'm particularly fond of bikes made in Japan, that had wonderful craftsmanship. Recently I started looking into custom made bikes from that era by US builders. I really enjoy drop bar conversions, starting with a rigid frame old school mountain bike. These can make great touring or gravel bikes.
