Please do not write for a better price if it doesn't say Make an Offer. Our items are listed for what we feel is fair in today's eBay market and are already discounted upon listing. We are happy to answer questions about the relative rarity, supply and demand that makes these markets. Many items are offered at cost to you, others at a modest mark-up but in range of average value. We are, after all, listing to make money! That's the point. We have to pay eBay and justify the hours and hours we spend listing, packing and shipping.

    The Illinois was evidently a government boat with some agency working the river. Bullitt Bayou was only a few miles above Natchez, up around Cowpen Point near the foot of Giles Bend.
