  The batteries were new but had an old date of best used before march2024. Seller said they were still in working condition but when I tried them they were dead. It cost me more time and expense to send them back than the $15.00 I spent to purchase them. I’ll just mark this up to experience.

  I took a "chance" from description saying unit was reported working from previous owner, but no luck. It was sold as "parts and not working" so thats a chance i took. :( all good, ill will try the display with a known good one and investigate it a little more.
