It was packed very well. It was of good value. The Inspiron 1420 was nearly identical to one that I have been using and despite having a bad battery, when turned on powered by the proper power adapter, booted to bios perfectly, and when proper hard drive and operating system was installed in the disk caddy that was included, worked as well.
