About us

The Greasy Shop Rag started out as a blog, progressed to a YouTube channel and is now also an Ebay store.
My name is Scott and I'm a full time small engine mechanic that spends most of my time repairing chainsaws, trimmers and blowers.
Ever since I was a kid I've enjoyed taking things apart, so breaking down equipment for resale is a natural.
I like that these items are being given a second chance and kept out of the landfills at least for a little while longer.
All the parts you'll find here have been cleaned and inspected by a full time mechanic with decades of experience.
