My heart goes pitti-pat when I discover something from the past that still has function or beauty to it. I'm most enamored with anything mid-century -- jewelry, clothing, handbags, pottery, glass, etc. However, those finds are more rare these days, so I often turn my attention to women's and men's clothing for the here and now that have quality, style that lasts, and comfort. That may not be as exciting as finding something that Jackie O or Marilyn would have owned, but I still love to hunt for great product. It is, after all, the thrill of the hunt - discovering something that others have dismissed, even more recent items, that gets my heart pumping.     I love these Vans BUT they are so full of mold and mildew I cannot get the smell out of them. Have tried bleach inside and water and vinegar. They look great but the smell makes them unwearable. I wouldn't put my feet in them. didn't you smell it - it's awful. They've been airing outside for 3 days, sprayed and cleaned and the smell lingers.
