    Overall, as long as you are using more modern up to date equipment and drives, the Sabrent 3.0 docking station is a great little portable device. But if you are using older outdated equipment & OS like my Mac Pro 1.1 (2006) then you might have some challenges, even when Sabrent and other Mac experts like OWC say you shouldn't and that the docking station is backwards compatible. It still may not be. It will not detect or read either of my 3.5" Seagate Barracuda HDDs from 2012 & 2011.
