    This hat was badly misrepresented in its photos. This hat is a beaver felt body that would originally have been steam blocked into dome shape. Somehow it was crushed and reinterpreted as a Russian Cossack antique. Nice try. It can be restored.

    I am completely confused by this feedback, as it is in no way related to the cream colored wool cloche the Buyer purchased from me. Perhaps this feedback was for a different hat the Buyer purchased from another Seller. My listing included 12 photos, taken in natural light, and a detailed description of the vintage hat. The Buyer did not contact me before leaving this feedback and has not communicated in any way.
