I make and sell pewter buttons mainly for use with historical clothing and uniforms.
Over the years I have made buttons for TV productions and both theatre and film. I’ve also produced buttons and other items for some of the country’s leading historical re-enactment groups.
I offer a very authentic product due to many of the buttons I produce being exact copies of an original period button. The original button after being cleaned up is used to create a mould. This is then used to create copies of the original button.
As well as buttons I also make a few ‘curious objects’ in pewter. Such as six sided dice, coins, pendents, badges and not forgetting my world famous musket balls! I have many new wonders in the pipeline so watch this space.
All the items I produce are made by myself in the UK from either a pewter & lead alloy or English pewter which is lead free. If the product contains lead it will be clearly stated in the listing.
