Books and paper are amazing. So I do everything I can to appreciate them. I bind books. I print things. I cut. Any type of paper-craft? I'm interested.
And then arcades. I'm a sucker for the cabinet aesthetic! Chunky, video game art, backlit. They're just a substantial object in any room, and their main purpose: fun. Hard for me not to like them.
- Favorite classic? Love me some Burger Time! I think it's the burger theme, and the way you get chased around the levels - it's almost as exciting as a real game of tag.
- Fighter? Marvel Vs Capcom 2 and some Killer Instinct. Both amazing characters and gameplay.
- Side-scroller? I grew up playing the Metal Slug games. Those stubby little cartoon shooters and that chunky tank!
- Under-appreciated? I really loved Battletoads growing up, and wish more people knew about and enjoyed it.
