About us

Summer of 2018, my sister and I were 8 and 10 years old fishing for Walleye and Perch on a local lake. We lost a bunch of harnesses that day fishing the weed beds. Our tackle box was pretty limited and instead of buying new, I asked my mom if I could learn to make my own. With the help of my Dad and Mom, they got me a airbrush and I practiced the entire summer painting on plastic spoons. From there I moved to painting willow and colorado blades. I learned how to tie snell and palomar knots. From there, we went to visit some local bait shops and my mom made us a facebook page. Sure enough, Reel Cool Lures was born. I'm now 17 and I hope you like my airbrushed patterns and the work I do. -AJ
