The X-29 was one of the coolest planes ever. If I remember right the forward-swept wings required a groundbreaking fly-by-wire system. I’m not sure what NASA was testing with the design, but the only comparable aircraft was the Sukhoi SU-47 Berkut (real?). It will fit in nicely alongside the other one-of-a-kind prototypes. And while it came from Asia, it didn’t take long, it was safely shipped in a styrofoam shell that was covered in plastic packaging. And the price was a good deal.
