About us

Welcome to Raggedydoll's Neighborhood. I selected this name because I am a long-time collector of Raggedy Ann items. I was given the doll in the photo in the 1960's, and she is very, very well-loved. She did everything with me, including sitting with me to watch the early years of "Mr. Rogers Neighborhood", which was only broadcast in the Pittsburgh area in those days. These two early loves inspired me to call my little store, "Raggedydoll's Neighborhood".
I don't have a specialty in my store. You will find everything from very, very old to brand new. Many items were given to me or passed on to me, while others I've picked up at garage or estate sales. If it seems interesting, pretty, utilitarian, fun or silly, it might be found here. I do my best to thoroughly describe my items, including any flaws. My home is smoke-free and perfume/cologne-free.
