  This is an easy item to install. The half round section that mates up with the original handlebar mount has a slightly smaller radius leaving a visible gap between the new part and the OE mount (see photo). The tolerances should be better. I wish I had bought a different one with better tolerances. Will probably swap it out for another one in the future.

  This panty wreck appears to be an OE royal Enfield part. For the most part the installation was straightforward. It required a little finessing, but nothing out of the ordinary. The bolts were the appropriate size and all the parts were included. No parts were missing.
