About us
When I was a child, my grandpa Opha would take me with him on his service calls to laundromats. I was fascinated with the machines, and his skills, how much respect he was given by the owners for keeping their machines serviceable. The sound of quarters clinking like so much rain, is indelibly printed into my memory. I chose electronic repair as my profession, and served my country for seven years in the Army.
I am much older now, medically retired a bit early. I use my spare time to rehabilitate consumer electronics. It hasn't brought a lot of money, and I'm not certain I'm even breaking even here. As a hobby though, keeping these items out of the landfill, and putting them into the hands of folks who may not necessarily have been able to afford them new, is certainly reward enough! If you choose to order an item from me, I include a small "kimchee" item, something to sweeten the deal a bit, unknown to the buyer but hopefully enjoyed just the same!
