    Nowhere was it mentioned in the description that the gasket was so dry and brittle that the slightly deformed shape was permanent and rendered it unusable (broken) if restored to the shape of the carburetor cover. The gasket was NOS, but it had none of the original packaging that it was shown with in the product images. The item shipped in a zip-lock bag. The price would not have been better if the gasket was usable. This gasket is only good for reverse-engineering and cutting new gaskets.
