About us
Newmoor Barn is a small farm nestled in the Tamar Valley on the borders of Devon and Cornwall, England.
We believe our angora goats produce some of the finest quality English mohair available.
All of our wool for Doll hair and fibre art is sourced from local farms and we do not supply fleece from animals we have not seen so we can ensure all our fleeces come from animals which are raised to the highest ethical standards.
All our goats live a full and happy life, with freedom to roam on pasture and in woodland. Making the mohair we use for our mohair wigs 100% vegetarian fibres
We supply the highest quality ethical fibres for artists including Wensleydale and teeswater locks for doll hair, spinning and fibre art, combed Suri Alpaca, raw fleece and much more.
