Form, color & surface remain primary considerations for what we handle. We also try to honor the original vintage & antique condition of period pieces & intervene & provide restorative treatments, only when absolutely needed. We also gently clean & thoughtfully refurbish what can be restored, without altering significantly the original intentions & desired appearance of an object's maker. We adhere to the principal of 'less-is-more' & the time-honored tenets of the German revolutionary school of design, the Bauhaus in the 1920's & 30's, where form & function were equally considered & seamlessly blended.     Avoid this buyer! My wife & I accepted their own 'low-ball' best offer of $275.00, down from the original asking price of $637.50. That's a $362.50 discount! The buyer also lives 3,000 miles away on the West Coast & we live in New Hampshire. The antique cabinet door was fairly large & needed to be very well packed to avoid damage during shipping. We also shipped the item asap, using UPS Ground. Their negative feedback was especially mean-spirited & grossly inaccurate. Avoid selling to this buyer
