    I am so impressed with this model and its specially simple set of parts to fit that I have written and illustrated instructions to encourage friends to get and assemble it. It has only 5 small parts to fix to the hull (including an unbelievably detailed AA mounting) and the very special feature of all the fine lattice masts being pre assembled on two superstructure blocks, making them easy to locate and fix on the hull. One omission, the 4 ships boats -nobody could them make better than SSModel!

    Impressively detailed model of this imposingly and beautifully styled British WW2 aircraft carrier. This class of ships all survived the war, but their armoured double hangar decks lacked sufficient height to accommodate the larger post-war aircraft, and they could not be kept or modernized. So they remained a lasting image of excellent British Naval design of their particular fortunate era, just post war, worthily modelled here.
