About us

Who are Southern Hospice Group?

Last year we announced that Chestnut Tree House and our sister hospice St Barnabas House would be merging with Martlets in Hove to create one single hospice group. To allow us to complete some legal and administrative functions, we’ve needed to identify a new name for the group: Southern Hospice Group.

Together, we support children, young people and adults who have life-limiting conditions which will significantly shorten their lives. We help those we care for, and their loved ones, to make the most of the precious time they have left together. Our expert palliative services support local communities across Sussex and South East Hampshire – at our hospice sites and in people’s homes.
