    To me this is a rare find...I ate at Sprague's Cafe between 1970 and late 1973 when I was a social services caseworker in Pasadena, Calif. In fact if you exited our side door at 123 W. Holly St., you could quickly enter the back door of Sprague's at 149 N. Fair Oaks. They were a mom and pop operation with the help of their daughter. Likely by 1973 they were just scraping by and few if any used the "Marine Room" for deluxe accommodations. But they were fine hard working people!
