    once we had it out of the package, it had clearly been used & expertly put back in. There was sediment on the rubber valve seals & marks on the brass stem where it had been turned.I believe the seller was unaware of this & was not trying to be misleading in it being sold as new.We tried to install it but did not work correctly, you could not shut off the valve all the way and water would always be running at a trickle.Since seller doesn’t offer returns..had to buy local and pitch this used Item
