Jimmy Jems™ Confetti INVENTED METALLIC SHAPED CONFETTI IN 1987 in Los Angeles, and has been the world leader in Confetti for over 30 years. Our first Shapes were Hearts, Stars, Polkadots, and Jimmies™ (which look like the chocolate dashes that are sprinkled on top of an ice cream cone). Hence the Brand Name "Jimmy Jems™ Confetti". and Service Mark.... Go on a sprinkle spree™.

Yes, Confetti has existed since the late 1890's, and we all know of Times Square Ticker Tape Parade, but back in 1984, a fellow UCLA Grad and I, started a company making Greeting Cards. We were young, and inventive, and thought it interesting to make Shapes of Confetti in colors. Lions, and Tigers, and Bears, oh my.

We have been selling Confetti ever since, in fact over 50,000,000 (50 million) Bags, and at one time had over 2500 shapes and sizes. Odds are, if you have bought confetti from Michaels, Party City, Macys, or anyone of 10,000 retailers you have shared some joy, and created many smiles
