My parents were born at the start of the Great Depression. They taught me the value of taking care of and use what you had. My parents kept and used many of the items that they had as children throughout their lives.
I inherited many of those items that were used and cared for by their families. There were things that I remembered from my childhood that were no longer around our households, so I made it my mission to find many of those things and add them to my collection and legacy. I found many of those items on eBay.
My parents bought and sold antiques after they retired. When they could no longer deal in antiques, I took over. I have been buying and selling antiques and collectibles for the past 25 years (both passively and actively). Since I retired, I decided to expand and start selling on eBay.
