My name is Janet Ismail, I'm 61 and retired from a stressful public service job after 10 years.
I took up painting as a release from the stress of the job after a hectic day.
I have no formal training and only took up painting a few years ago, but it has not only become my time to relax but a passion that is part of my life now and couldn't see myself not doing it.
I enjoy nature and and all it's beauty, from the country hills to the river and oceans.
Landscape and seascape are favorite topics to paint.
