I use this appliance indoors daily with my solar supply, but would be excellent out of doors even on a windy day. Simmers on setting 2 or 3, once pan is up to temperature on full power (5), which is about 5 to 6 minutes. Well designed and easy to use and wipe down after use. Recommended and good value.

Well manufactured appliance, good value, tray handle could be better designed to hold hot tray firmly, easy to clean drop down baseplate. Cooks very well, (quickly so keep watch!) so overall very pleased with this item. In use daily.
