I collect the publisher Quincke & this song was one hit that put Walter Quincke on the map as an innovative L.A. music publisher in early decades of 20th century. Quincke also published the first, and a few more of the unknown Buddy De Sylva in 1916-17 before he gained fame in NYC in 1918 with Jolson & on Broadway in 1920’s with Gershwin & DBH—Buddy with Brown & Henderson.
