I'm a mom who supplements household income by selling outgrown &/or no longer used clothing, toys, books, collectibles & other items. Oh the forgotten treasures I'm finding as I sort through packed away boxes from our past! I love the concept that even though something may no longer be used by us, it can & will be treasured by someone else. Reuse, refresh, rehome!
I take selling seriously & try to be respectful to those who are looking to purchasing my items. I would ask for the same respect back. Before listing an item I do research & try to list at market value based on supply, demand & condition. I'm not here to "make a quick buck" but rather to find new homes for our beloved items. But at the same time, it takes time/energy/cost to create these listings so yes, I do need to turn a bit of a profit as well. Selling fees can be pricey. I'm not sure buyers fully realize the extent of that.
