About us

The Hockey History Archive is dedicated to reclaiming, grading, and reselling hockey cards. A huge number of classic and very important cards are not currently receiving the attention they deserve because modern grading as represented by such companies as PSA and Beckett is very expensive, typically $30 or $40 per card (or more), which means a huge number of important mid-grade cards are not being graded and slabbed because between the grading cost and the raw card cost the cost ends up being more than the card itself is worth. Cards with values under a hundred dollars thus tend to not get graded at all or are only graded in small quantities. HHA seeks to remedy that by acquiring, grading, and reselling these cards at prices commensurate with their actual value and usually less. We also offer affordable grading for collectors because we believe PSA (a billion dollar company) et al have been robbing the community a long time and it needs to end. HHA represents a new approach to grading.
