About us

We started as the original Chicago vintage monthly event sale in the 80's & 90's.
19 years ago we opened this ebay store with the personal carefully curated collection of unique items from the past and around the world, as well as the belief the bumbled, the botched & the bruised are cool, deserve to have purpose and a new life.
We have ALWAYS believed in upcycling, salvaging, refurbishing & fixing for sustainability. Some of our items are a unique repurposing made of vintage/ antique components, and some of our items are great for those that want to salvage it into something themselves.
We also feel sometimes items are cool and enjoyable to look at just the way they are, telling their story through the wear, tear and love that went into that item (for this reason some of our items are not in their original functionality but for displaying enjoyment).
