Greatful Threds is created on the premise that choosing to buy second hand and/or new items that have been donated to a thrift locations, is socially responsible, healthy, and supportive of our environment.
Not only are we reusing valuable and oftentimes finite resources, but we are also assuring less gets dumped in landfills when thrown away.
Less clothing means fewer textiles and fabrics will end up in enormous piles in a landfill. Fashion trends may come and go, often far too quickly for the planet. So, thrift shopping allows us to recycle and reuse clothing, instead of turning it into waste.
