About us

My interests in material and popular culture are too broad to confine my store to a single "specialty." I have a MA in American Studies but still work full time in another field, so my education drives my avocation more than my vocation. I started this store as a way to liquidate some of my excess "pickings" while I work my way to retirement, but after a recent surgery I decided to organize my record collection better and discovered that the collection that started casually had grown, seriously. That collection is my current focus so expect more genres and formats to appear soon. I love "picking" and I love the research involved, so my job is my job, but what I "pick," research, and choose to resell is where my passion lies. You'll notice an emphasis on the esoteric and arcane in these listings and I hope you can enjoy them as I have.
