04/15/2025 - "Marry the house, date the rate". I was told this when I purchased my house. But now, I want to break up with my rate except interest rates aren't coming down and the economy is doing poorly so my company is no longer making enough to refinance my $4300+/mo mortgage. Almost 3K A MONTH in interest charges alone! We've decided to confiscate our business eBay store and do things a bit differently. We've got a goal to raise $481,353.00 over the next year so that we can pay off the mortgage and get out from under $3k per month in interest payments.
