    Item was DOA. Opened back of detector where investigation revealed a switch marked move upward to disable unit for recycling. It had been moved upward effectivly killing detector. Detector was in original sealed factory packaging and had not been tampered with. This is a factory problem and seller is blameless. For the amount of money involved it is not worth persuing the issue, just order another dector but this new one uses ordinary batteries.

    Item is new as described however the image showed a bilingual cover and the one I received was english only. I would have preferred the bilingual one, I guess its too late now.
