    Dr Doolin's Triumph TR6 Front Spring Compressor is a thing of beauty. Call me crazy as I know I will not use it more than a few times, however making sure I don't have a giant spring sticking out of my head seems worth it. Simple and well thought out. Thanks for helping me rebuild my 1974 TR6.

    Not the best tool for a TR3. I'm sure it works for a TR6 as detailed in the video but it was extremely difficult to use in a TR3. I ended up using a jack instead.

    The TL502 Tool is just as easy to use on the TR3 as the TR6. I now have a TR3 in my garage (Sept 2025) and had no problem getting it under the dashboard and lifting the transmission. If there is a radio or other devices attached underneath the dashboard then you would have to remove them. I've posted a picture on the tool listing. Best Regards, James
