About us

Since 1992, Dog Eared Books has been serving San Francisco, the Bay Area, and Northern California quality used and new books. Our brick & mortar store stock ranges from classic literature to the obscure, the popular to the esoteric, collectibles to everyday reading copies. We save some of our more unusual, unique, and rare books for our ebay store, which we update several times a week.

We ship books from Monday to Saturday and aim to get your order out the same or next mailing day. We have a lot of experience shipping books so that they withstand rough handling and get to you undamaged. Any books bought through our ebay site can also be picked up in our store, which is located at 900 Valencia Street, on the corner of 20th and Valencia, in San Franisco's Mission District. We are happy to answer any questions that you might have.
