  New tools, but not Japanese, which are always marked. These aren't marked & are stamped, not forged, implying a Chinese tool. At this point don't know what I got, but they work (for now), & the price was good so I'm not complaining. Bought some scissors 2 yrs ago, with the same story about being found in an old Japanese nursery (they must have found a lot of tools). They still work, but the play between the parts has increased. Don't think I'll be buying any more tools from them.

  Item was sent in a flimsy cardboard envelope no bubble wrap to protect it.. won’t even send me out another for exchange. Seller doesn’t respond until u open a case . Beware of this seller.
