About us

At Columbia Basin Designs it is our goal to recycle, reuse and repurpose used goods. Every effort is made to ensure that items have been inspected, cleaned and tested to allow a second chance at life. So many items are so easily discarded when they have plenty of life still left in them, I try to save those items and find them a new home. I grew up in a home where the only option was second hand and I learned that I could create a very fashionable and up to date look for a fraction of the price while still having relevant style. I also understand the importance of saving history whether that is in the form of books, china, or other artifacts that I may come across. One day these items may become impossible to find, as we move into a more disposable lifestyle, I am trying to salvage the hand made, vintage collectables that our ancestors may have grown up with.
