About us: Cataclysm opened in 2011 and started out in a tiny 600 square foot location. Since then, we have expanded 5 times and now have a 5,000 square foot retail location and a 6,000 square foot free-to-use gaming area. Our gaming area is one of the nation's largest and holds 16 full-size miniatures tables, comfortable seating for 64+ TCG players, 2 video game corners complete with the latest gaming systems and 4k TVs, multiple RPG tables, a board game library, and a fully stocked paint bar. We spend roughly 10% of our yearly profits in maintaining and upgrading this area for our local players.

By purchasing from us, you are supporting a small business in Northern Illinois that employs 20+people. Our employees make a minimum of $24 per hour, have fully-paid health/dental insurance, 4 weeks of PTO, a matched 401k, and paid Holidays.
